FINDING OF EMERGENCY
The Division of Insurance finds that an emergency exists and that the attached regulation is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, or general welfare. The facts constituting the emergency include the following:
On March 11, 2020, Governor Dunleavy issued an emergency declaration of a public health disaster in response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in response to an anticipated outbreak. This regulation helps to make the symptoms of COVID-19 covered under Alaska's Comprehensive Health Insurance Association Reinsurance Program.
ADOPTION ORDER RA20-01
Under the authority of AS 21.06.090, AS 21.55.220, and AS 21.55.400, the attached page of regulation changes are therefore adopted as an emergency regulation to take effect immediately upon filing by the lieutenant governor, as provided in AS 44.62.180(3).
This action is not expected to require an increased appropriation.

I, Lori K.
